Reminisce: Call your Mother

This is intended as the first in a series of “portraits”. I don’t usually work in a series much to the dismay of galleries, collectors, etc. But when I painted “Let’s all go to Coconino”, I realized that I was revisiting the past and this led to ideas for other “Remembrances”. I also thought I was too serious about painting and wanted a bit of humor in some which opened the door for other wistful subjects. I have a few more in mind but whether I can “stay focused” remains to be seen.
